This site highlights emerging technologies from Stardock and shows how corporate clients can benefit from these.
"I love customizing Windows. Ever since I first got this computer back in 2002, I have been constantly installing new skins, programs and shells, trying to get the perfect experience. Most of those programs worked flawlessly, while others didn't work so well. Throughout my entire experience with customization, one company has stuck out: Stardock. They are the undisputed leaders in customization software."

Well, who am I to disagree?

Great article, thanks for posting it.

Is it wrong, sad and/or pathetic that I'm excited that one of my font packs was mentioned?

Whoa, it is truly an honour to have my article mentioned on such a prominent customizing website. Thanks

I liked the article but didn't tsf make the age of mythology skin?
on Jul 03, 2004
Yeah, I was probably a bit ambiguous while Microsoft didn't make the skin they _commissioned_ it. I figured it was simpler to say that it was a Microsoft skin than it was a tcf skin.

I'd like to see DesktopX become a shell replacement. Only thing stopping it from being a full-fledged one NOW is the taskbar and systray hooks don't work when explorer isn't running. I'm sure that both of those issues could be fixed easily, if Stardock decided it was worth doing.

Yeah, that's the problem with DesktopX. Maybe in a future version they can turn it into it's own shell I think it'd work _much_ better that way. Until then, it takes up too much resources
